Piano Music for Discoverers (vol 1)
Ideally suited for teenagers and adults, the pieces span a range of moods and colours - from peaceful to joyful and everything in between - to stimulate your imagination at the piano.

Progressing through a range of difficulty levels, from grades 3-8 (early-intermediate to advanced), there are pieces to suit every type of pianist, and Sally has included specially arranged versions of her most popular chamber and orchestral works for solo piano in this collection.

As a leading composer of her generation, Sally’s music expresses our most intimate to grandiose experiences of our world, with a strong focus on nature, Australian landscape, and the beauty in humanity - and these themes are present throughout this volume of pieces, with titles such as The Blue Mountains, The Secret Garden and Perhaps Tomorrow.

Each of the pieces in the book has been recorded by celebrated pianist Alan Hicks, and can be accessed via the book’s QR code found inside its cover.

Piano enthusiast Skye Baines shares her insights into the book, “one of the things I most love is Sally’s encouragement for players to make the pieces their own. They are enjoyable to play, and my family enjoy hearing them played as well.”
