  • Orange Regional Conservatorium 73A Hill Street Orange, NSW, 2800 Australia (map)

Friday 7 July 9am - 12pm

For ages 5-8

An introduction Singing, Ukulele, pBuzz and Violin in a round-robin style, try each instrument, learn the basics and meet our teachers.

Singing - A no-barriers-to-entry instrument for everyone! ORC Early Childhood Music expert, Samantha Bartholomeusz, will give an introductory lesson to her ever-popular 'Little Singers' program

Violin - One of the most popular instruments to learn from a young age, violin for young beginners provides clear pathways into other string family instruments such as Cello, Viola and Double Bass. Learn the fundamentals with the ORC's own Alina Zborowski!

Ukulele - Ukulele is one of the most accessible instruments for kids, learning chords, melodies and basic music theory can be made easy on the Uke! Come along to learn the very basics, sing a song and meet our wonderful Ukulele guru Stephen Somerville.

pBuzz - Aimed at Year 2 students who like the idea of playing a brass instrument, the pBuzz is a good introduction when children are too small to properly hold a brass instrument and may not yet have their front teeth.
