Main instrument: voice Teaching focus –using music generally and the voice particularly as a tool to encourage and assist the emotional, cognitive and motor development of young children, particularly those experiencing developmental challenges.....and having FUN!
Musical influences: many, many, many....from the harmonies of the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel to the heartfelt blues of Billie Holiday, the soul of Aretha Franklin, the angst of Janis Joplin and the heart of Bonnie Raitt.
Career highlights: no particular highlight but many great experiences.
Instrument you wish you could play: guitar
Scariest stage moment: probably my first ever gig as a 19 year, very inexperienced performer – it was at a very rough bikie pub in Fairfield - and my leg did not stop shaking the whole time I was on the stage!
Favourite thing outside music: probably my family....actually maybe chocolate....either my family or chocolate.....or good coffee....definitely chocolate, good coffee ....oh ..and my family.
