"The Orange Regional Conservatorium is a community not for profit organisation. Any support from the community gives the ORC that extra hand in delivering services to our students and our community. Anyone can help out from joining Friends of the ORC who volunteer to help with productions, gardening and raising funds, or becoming a Member and enjoying benefits such as reduced ticket prices. By simply donating money, the ORC can purchase state of the art performance chairs, specifically designed to look after young spines, and new instruments. Sponsors and partners are beneficial to the ORC. With their support the ORC is able to renovate the auditorium, build new tutorial rooms and improve services."

Donations
With the combinations of growing bodies and the demands of musical presentation, sitting down for long stretches at a time can be a real pain in the neck, back, shoulders, etc. for musicians. This can lead to poor posture. Techno chairs, made in Australia, are becoming the industry standard for performing groups all over the world. Concern for the long term health of our students has convinced us that these chairs are essential. The ORC is aiming to have 70 chairs for ensemble members and students and this is where you can help. $500 will buy a chair with your name proudly displayed on the back.
