Teaching focus: Tailored to each student. There are some core areas I will teach every student, then I let them decide which direction they want to go in. Whether that is a particular style, specific songs, advanced technique, reading, improvistation, ensemble work etc.
Musical influences: Mainly influenced by my students now. They bring in Songs by bands I've never heard! It's a learning experience for all involved.
Career highlights: Having some original songs by a band that I played in ("The Crazed" if you want to search for it on Triple J unearthed) aired on community radio in Germany. Those where the days, when I was famous :)
The instrument you wish you could play: Bass Guitar
Scariest stage moment: Playing Tchaikovsky's Symphony No 4, Op 365 on timpani (one the more difficult pieces to play on timpani) when I'd only been playing timps for less than a month.
