Name: Katherine Moses
Main instrument: Cello
Teaching focus: Encouraging students to enjoy their instrument while progressing, and getting a real sense of accomplishment out of playing and learning.
Musical influences: My teachers, and listening to brilliant cellists play my repertoire.
Career highlights: I can't say i've exactly had a career as yet, but achieving pleasing results in exams, eisteddfords and auditions and performing are certainly highlights.
The instrument you wish you could play: The Trombone, although i'm not sure why.
Scariest stage moment: Anytime where our music can potentially blow off the stand and into the pond a few meters away, namely the Gardens concerts!
What’s your favourite thing outside music? Travelling the world. Hopefully i can do more of that as soon as possible.
