If Strauss doesn’t stir you or you’re not motivated by Mozart, the Contemporary Studies Unit at ORC might be what you’re looking for in music tuition.
Concentrating on the styles of rock, pop and jazz, the Contemporary Studies Unit is comprised of tutors Kyle Manning (piano, voice, electric bass), James Buchanan (guitar), Mitch Davis (drums and percussion) and Luiz Ortiz (double and electric bass).
All four have a wealth of experience with the contemporary styles, both in tuition and performance. They bring to ORC a new and exciting approach to contemporary music – expanding our focus to the music of today.
Learn to read chord charts, work in a rock ensemble or improvisation skills. It’s a relaxed environment with a focus on style and enjoyment.
