Kyle Manning - Contemporary Style Coach (Keyboard)

Kyle Manning is a versatile contemporary performer with more than 15 years' experience as a live and studio musician. He has performed in professional theatre in Both Sydney and Melbourne and is accomplished in genres including jazz, pop, country, rock, blues and soul. Kyle has worked with some of Australia's leading contemporary musicians and his career highlights include performing on the same bill as INXS at the 2003 Rugby World Cup and the Princess Theatre Company production of Piano Men (Forum Melbourne, 1996). His current project is Sydney rock quartet Charger, which are set to release their debut album later this year.

Buchanan -
Contemporary Guitar

James Buchanan is a versatile Guitarist, accomplished in many genres including Jazz, Rock, Funk, Pop and Blues. Since completing his HSC in 2004 he has studied Contemporary music locally, attaining an Advanced Diploma of Music and developed a strong standing in the music community as a live and recording musician. He has performed in many groups over the last five years, including professional covers bands and original acts. Some of these groups have placed highly in State wide competitions and supported popular Australian bands such as Thirsty Merc, The Angels and Rose Tattoo. James joined the Orange Regional Conservatorium in 2007 as the Contemporary Guitar Tutor, and regularly performs in ORC events and ensembles. |

Luis Ortiz - Double Bass

Lou
Ortiz started his musical studies in the University of the Philippines
College of music in 1979, majoring in composition. He won 2nd prize
in the League of Filipino Composers Competition in 1982. His interest
for the double bass started in 1982, self-taught at the early stages
and then studied with the excellent violin pedagogue Prof. Sergio
Esmilla.
In 1987, he then went
to Vienna, Austria to continue his double bass studies with
the world famous Double bass virtuoso
and pedagogue, Prof. Ludwig Streicher in the Hochschule fuer
Msuik und Darstellende Kunst, Wien, who later presented him
as soloist
in various recitals and took him as a private assistant (1991-1995).
He did various recitals and solo concerts in Austria.
He worked in Spain with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia (1995-99)
and the Real Filharmonica de Galicia (1999-2007), both orchestras
considered to be on the top 5 orchestras of Spain. He has given
masterclasses in Spain and in the Philippines. He is currently
one of the tutors in the Orange Regional Conservatorium.
